EXPLORING WITH MINDFULNESS

All living things are connected, including us. And so, how we live affects all the life around us. Learning how plants thrive, how our food is grown and what happens to our waste is critical to our ability in making sustainable decisions in our lives. By connecting with nature and building community, we can empower our ability to choose ethically while caring for one another.

This year, our day camp will be set outdoors to support social distancing. Activities will center a healing and empowering program. Empathy has always been a foundational theme in our learning which we need now more than ever: we will continue to help kids feel safe and loved, and so we hope to increase that capacity by going deeper into mindfulness this year.

Let’s take a deep breath together and garden!
